Robert Donald McQuillen, 66, of Janesville passed away at the Edgerton Care Center with his family by his side on Tuesday, August 2, 2011. He was born in Edgerton on December 10, 1944, the son of Donald Robert McQuillen and Dorothy (Reinke) McQuillen. Bob grew up on a farm in Johnstown Township and continued to farm in the township the remainder of his life. He graduated from Milton Union High School in 1963 and served for a time in the Wisconsin National Guard. He married Linda Fenrick on March 24, 1973. Bob was a member of Westside Baptist Church. Bob’s passions included his family, his Lord and farming.

Survivors include his wife, Linda McQuillen of Janesville, four children, Melissa (Jason) Chapman of Watertown, WI, Matthew McQuillen of Janesville, Alex (Elizabeth) McQuillen of Johnstown, Paul (Katie) McQuillen of Janesville, five grandchildren, Tyler and Sarah Chapman, Cole, Jackson and Connor McQuillen, his mother, Dorothy McQuillen of Johnstown, two sisters, Janet Parr and Judy (Richard) Meske. His father preceded him in death.

Bob’s family wishes to give a special thanks to Jim Berg, his brother in the Lord, for his faithful visits and encouragement. Also to the Edgerton Care Center staff for their caring and compassionate concern.

Funeral services will be Saturday, August 6, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Westside Baptist Church, 3227 West County Road A, Janesville with Pastor Bob Logan officiating. Burial will follow in Old Johnstown Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, August 5th from 5 to 7 p.m. at Henke-Clarson Funeral Home, 1010 N. Wright Rd., Janesville and at the church on Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. Memorials may be made in Bob’s name to Edgerton Care Center.
